IN CASE YOU MISS IT MIKEY!!

IN CASE YOU MISS IT MIKEY!! THERE'S AN EDIT AT THE BOTTOM FOR YOU!! :)

Hi Uli :)

I tried copying it from the map but that bit was a bit blurry so I may have made a mistake... or they did :)

Okaaayyy we have the map turned 90 degrees clockwise to the right? Er why?

Oh. Well. It was on the internet like that, which means it must be right and the planet is orientated wrong :)

edit: that map up there is of a place now featured *perform complicated maths* four times on this page :)

erm... three times on this page...

One of the three times it's the right way up...

We first got a telephone in 1954 when I was aged 10, at that time I was a bit more responsible than little girls obviously are:-)))

We didn't have one till 1983 and I was 16 and-a-half (and public call boxes just weren't available in the African bush - no - not at all :)) so I was well past doing things like that, which means I can't in all honesty say I definitely would not have if the opportunity had been there when I sported an age of just one digit, only that I think I wouldn't have, but I've since met a few English boys who did it in their younger years, in between spitting on lightbulbs to make them explode... you strange island people you :)))

For everyone's convenience: link to clue expansion and a reminder too...

The V is the vegetable, the M/C is the minerally chemically thing, and the A the animal/s that contributed to the historical event :)

EDIT: Ooh we must have been great minds thinking alike there, Mikey! I nearly missed this in a post crossing:

And in the Spring I will become a grandpa for the first time

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww :) what lovely news, Mikey!! :) I don't think I'm going to be a granny. Probably just as well. I'd probably be a dreadful influence if I was :)))

Please wait here. Further instructions could pile up at any time. Thank you.

I've been up and down this thread twice in the last few minutes and I do not find that map in any orientation anywhere prior to Sunday's clue expansion. I admit I am having a hard time staying awake, but I don't think I would have missed it twice.

Why did you do that? *pop head on one side* the maps were the clue expansion. Well part of it. That's why they appeared, for the first time, kind of IN IT...

*reinflate head*

Making that three appearances, in two posts, overall *long frank appraisal* strange the things that need explaining round here, it really really is :))

Hope you have a nice nap, David... you definitely need it I think :)

Hi guys, apols for not being

Hi guys, apols for not being around for nearly two days, think I've had a mild dose of food poisoning, hence spending 36 hours in bed with stomach cramps. Over the worst now but a funeral to go to today. Catch up tomorrow. Oh and I'll take any further parenting discussion off line, that would be best.

Waiting for Godot & salvation :-)

I think you could be a very good granny, it's not about being a good or bad influence, it's more about guiding them to the right decisions I think. I think any grandkids or even your own daughter, I have no idea if you have more kids than the one posted about in here, would have a lot of fun trying to figure out the, sometimes very obscure to me, clues you give to things. Frustrating at times, of course, but fun when they are in the right mood for them. We also learn alot about kids as we raise them, then get watch them try to raise their own kids can be a learning experience too!

Chris I hope you feel better soon, and also that you KNOW what caused your problems too!! Not knowing could mean you could do this all over again, and that can't be a fun prospect at this point!

It's in the upper 40's F here on the East Coast of the US this morning, I hope you folks across the pond are ready for it to head your way!!! Of course it's okay with me, I actually have the windows open to offset the heat being put off by my pc's, my basement may finally actually cool down below the low 90's F this week!!!

Slightly enlarged... from

Slightly enlarged... from where it first appeared ... David ... and others :)

...the map, where the other map which is the wrong way down is the right way up :)

Awwwwwwww :) you're so welcome!

@Chris - sorry to hear you've been poorly, and about the funeral thing too :(( Hope to see you tomorrow :) and yes, the offline idea is good - that way *pause to prepare special little holes for anniet-sized heels* ...we can disagree in our inboxes too :)))

Thank you :) I think so too sometimes, but both my son and my daughter have decided not to, for a medical reason that if I had been aware of before, would probably have meant I wouldn't have had children either. So, if it's true that traits skip a generation, I am most likely, the last of my kind :)

I can't see that. The firewall here at work says http://r33.imgfast.net/users/3312/31/47/39/smiles/2480457467.gif is a malware site.

Well, I thought I'd give one

Well, I thought I'd give one last post to this Thread whilst I still can... Running VERY low on RAC; not sure when I will crunch again, as SETI is my main project on both computers.

I won't be gone permanently; but, if RAC runs out, I will be gone for awhile. I will miss you all.

Take care,

TL

I did notice earlier, but

I did notice earlier, but didn't have time to post, that the map blob in question is in fact a depiction of Iceland. Still no idea what all the clues add up to, though.
