Only have 1 WU and the disk space used by the project is 26.22 MB and growing for every WU i crunch.

Then you're really interested in a subject, there is no way to avoid it. You have to read the Manual.

I'm seeing the same thing, about 3 meg growth over the last six days. Currently; 56.45mb with 14 wu, 4 of them complete, 1 in progress. Cache size has not been changed in those three days.

I also have 56.45mb used by Einstein@home. Currently I have 2 wu on my computer.
I don't know but I have 17 files like:
H1-narrow_159.0_11.0.sft

Each of them have a size of about 3MB.
What are they for?

These files are the actual

These files are the actual data that is crunched. Every workunit may require any of them, and for saving download time they are not removed.

Actually there was a thread about this, i'll try to find it.
