    MIT researchers have managed to observe in real time how individual neurons in the visual cortex changes due to experience!

      indeed. I have also read somewhere that the brain of bi-lingual chilren is quite different from those one-lingual. Here i mean whether the child up to 5 years was tought one or more languages. And the article also stated that bi-lingual children later learn new languages statistically faster than one-lingual
