Hi
I am using the above version and my processing has almaost stopped. I looked in task manager and the boinc.exe is using 50% of the processing power all the time. Older version ran two work units from projects at 50% each and boinc.exe used 0%, or very little, once initiated. The following is a screen shot:

Version 5.1.2600 Service Pack 2 Build 2600

I think i will revert back to the version I had that worked fine unless there is a fix.
Thanks

BOINC Version 4.43 boinc.exe 50% CPU
)
Hi
I stopped and started BOINC and it looks fine now. I will keep an eye on it.
Edited:
I just a couple of my other machines and they also have boinc.exe running at 50% so I believe there is a problem here. I may still revert back if I can't use 100% for work units.....

Hi

It's a known issue. :( 50% on HT or dualies and 99% on single CPU systems. Stopping and starting is the temporary fix, but unfortunately we haven't got a handle on what's causing it yet, so an ETA to fix is unknown.
Sorry about that.
Hi I went back to version

Hi
I went back to version 4.19 which is the next one back on the BOINC download site as there were too many problems with Predictor and general BOINC problems.
Thanks anyway
