There seem to be many Boinc client problems lately. WU's won't upload, Boinc CPU useage goes up and project useage drops low, and ghost WU's that are reported downloaded but not present on the system.
Seem to be on all platforms, mainly last week or so. I've had all of the above happen on three different platforms running various versions of Mandriva 10.1 and 10.2. Using Kboincspy to "Update Project" seems to clear the problem temporarily. Updating to the next Boinc Client seems to fix the issue see http://einsteinathome.org/goto/comment/14882 and http://einsteinathome.org/goto/comment/15903
and elsewhere.
I have only seen the problem while S@H has been down for an extended period. Anyone have info on specifically whats happening and whats the best solution (upgrade Boinc client to test version, update project when Boinc hangs, wait for S@H to come back up, or something else)?

Boinc Problems

Just a follow up. Now that S@H is back up all problems have disappeared. Boinc 4.43 must have a problem when one of the projects is unreachable for an extended period. Just running Boinc 4.43, E@H 4.81, and S@H 4.02 (50/50) on Mandriva 2005LE and 10.1, PIII and AMD platforms.
