I am running Einstein and Climate Prediction on the current BOINC version. Einstein has been running for about 1 week and CP started running yesterday. I noticed that since CP has been running, Einstein has disappeared from the (simple) BOINC Manager, but is listed on the Advanced View and appears to be running. Is there a way to get Einstein back on the simple view mode and be able to view the visualisations?

BOINC Manager problem
)
ksd20039, when you are running CP you are running a very long term project and BOINC is very conservative about meeting deadlines. I suspect that you have two climate prediction models running (you will see them in “tasks in advanced view). If that is the case then CP will be running for most of the day to get ahead of itself and Einstein will perhaps run for 5 or 6 hours. If you look in simple view you will only see what is running at the time. Go to advanced view “tasks and you should see at least one Einstein unit suspended because CP is grabbing all the time. After some weeks things will equalise and you should see roughly a 50/50 split between CP and Einstein. If I have not made myself clear then please post again. Dave

If I'm reading this correctly, just click on the project tab in the Simple GUI to see what the other project is up to.

Climate prediction is running

Climate prediction is running two models and I figured that both CP and Einstein would not run simultaneously. Einstein returned to the task bar of simple mode after I momentarily suspended Cp in advanced mode. I haven't had a problem since. Thanks to all who replied.
