Ok been searching around and found GPU computing down the page a bit is Attach to projects with GPU applications. Some have linux support but it seems most don't. So the question is do we have support for linux and gpu yet or is being worked on or not messing with it? Here is the reason I ask I use windows :( most of the time because of games and afew other things but I love linux and would rather use linux not just for this but for everything. Waiting for the work to get done and I am going to be switching over to the linux side and going to be working on getting boinc setup on that side. I like to do as much as I can with what I have so that means gpu usage as well. But even if we don't have the support for gpu in linux yet I still want to get the client boinc setup and run some benchmarks under linux on this desktop.
So if anything I might be down on the GPU work for a bit but will still work on the CPU side none the less.

Have you ever taken a peek (through the statistics link on the front page of the website) at the top hosts list? There are several hosts on the first page running Linux and all hosts on that page run multiple GPUs. Currently, the #1 host runs Linux.
So I guess you could say there is quite mature support for both Linux and GPUs here :-).
Cheers,
Gary.

Nope didn't know this... but will come in handy now that I do.
Nope been busy reading over forums looking for answers and what not. I will be looking into this soon. All most done with all units in windows side and will be switching over to linux side. I know what windows benchmarks say this desktop can do but can't wait to see what linux says as it is a faster OS.
Thanks Claggy and Gary
Note I might still be new around here but I am learning, might be a bit slow at times but this is because of the lack of sleep I get everyday until crash day then I try to catch up on sleep... lol
