BOINC claims settings do not allow fetching tasks for NVIDIA GPU

    The BOINC manager tells me that my settings don't allow fetching tasks for NVIDIA GPU. I have a Geforce NVIDIA GTX 1050Ti GPU. The settings in my account are yes for NVIDIA GPU and yes for AMD GPU. I checked all of my settings, and they are correct. Still BOINC persists in its claim. What do I do?

      Make sure you're editing preferences for the same location as the computer is set to.

      First go to your Account and below the creditgraph click on your computer name. Then find the line "Location:", take a note on what the box reads.
      After that go to your project preferences and make sure the box at the top "Preference set:" shows the same location.

      Comment viewing options

      Select your preferred way to display the comments and click "Save settings" to activate your changes.
