I do not understand why but Boinc brings up my email page and then the info page I have asked for. When I close the Boinc page, I then need to close the email page also. What am I doing wrong?

Can you provide a lot more information? OS, BOINC version, what "info page" you are asking for and how you're asking for it, web browser, mail program...
Without details, I can only guess, but I'll take a shot. You're clicking on one of the buttons on the left side of BOINC Manager, and you're running Windows. Your browser is Internet Explorer, and you use a web-based email package, and have the email site as your "home" page. In IE's preferences, you have it set for external URLs to open a new window. When IE is not running, it is launched by you clicking on the BOINC button - and it opens both your home page window and the window from the URL BOINC sent it. If all of that is correct, then I can only tell you that it is something in the IE preferences causing the extra window to be opened - BOINC just tells Windows "open this URL", and everything past that point is up to the browser you have set as a default.
If I'm off base totally, let me know and someone will try to help!
I am running E-4.79 on

I am running E-4.79 on Windows XP Home. When I am running my Yahoo email page and start the "your ..." pages, this email page will start, http://us.f501.mail.yahoo.com. But if this page is closed, the "your ..." page displayes correctly.
Thank you for your help.

Still need to know what

Still need to know what browser you're running, and what version of BOINC, and how you're "starting the 'your' pages"...
