So far this task has errored out fairly quick for everyone that has attempted to run it.
Mine exited with Error -226 (0xFFFFFF1E) ERR_TOO_MANY_EXITS
Others that have run the task have the message below in the stderr output:
DEPRECATION WARNING: program has invoked obsolete function InitDopplerSkyScan(). Please see XLALInitDopplerSkyScan() for information about a replacement.

I was running that task on my win11 box Ryzen 5700g with no errors.
Maybe an os version issue?

For all other unsuccessful attempts of this workunit the reason was a memory allocation error due to insufficient physical memory (see last ~20 lines of logfiles). I discussed this problem (incorrect memory_bound value in workunits) in problems forum and in O3MD1 tech news thread.
The 3rd reissued task for this workunit reports in the failed result:
That's a heavy whopper as it exceeds the memory_bounds value of 3.3 GiB which I saw lately for O3MD1 CPU workunits since project admin Bernd fixed the memory_bound problem. But he also stated that the team still struggles to predict memory consumption of O3MD1 CPU tasks.
BUT I don't know what happens to Dr Who Fan's attempt to crunch this task:
The deprecation warning is normal. It can be found in the logfile of each successful finished O3MD1 CPU task. Project team may want to replace the deprecated function call in the future. But it works for now.

Oh, ... most hosts this workunit has failed so far only had 4 GiB RAM, one 6 GiB. The users may use a too aggressive memory configuration for BOINC (e.g. use up to 70..80 % of available RAM instead of maybe 50%). The OS also needs memory (~1 GiB ??)
Fifth reissued task went to an old Mac Core i3 540 with ..... 4 GiB RAM. Bad prospects for a successful completion of this whopper.
