Hi all - I'm a noob, so please excuse the nature of my post if this has been discussed and addressed previously.

I'm running the latest Catalyst drivers (12.4), on a Radeon HD 7970 GPU and have selected to always use GPU in BOINC - logs reporting ATI device name: 'AMD Radeon HD 79x0 series (Thiti)' doesn't match 'Radeon HD 6900'

Any suggestions?

Many thanks

Apologies - school boy error of not reading through the forum first :) I completely missed the following thread and latest version of BOINC (7.0.27 onwards) that provides supports for ATI/AMD GPU's and APU's:

Einstein@Home GPU/APU Application for AMD/ATI Graphics Cards: discussion thread

Hello and welcome to Einstein@Home!

Good to see your problem solved, let us know if you have any other issues with the (rather new) OpenCL app.

Cheers
