    I've seen a few posts where others are having trouble with the screen saver and ATI graphics cards.

    Is there an eta on when this will be resolved. Its kind of a cool feature...

    Presetnly I'm running BOINC 4.45

      The issue with the client itself has been resolved, if you read all the posts, the problem resides with the cruncher apps. They need to be re-compiled to complete the fix.

          I don't know when it'll be released project wide, but if you want to try the beta on your Windows machine, (graphics work with my ATI card) look at this thread. Unfortunately, (as most of your machine run Linux) there is no beta app for Linux yet. Only Windows and Mac.

              with an ATI Sapphire Readon X700 Pro

                I am running the beta and while the screen saver appears...when I go to wake it up the client often bombs with an unrecoverable error...quite annoying and I am turning off the screen saver for now..

                This seems to happen only on my machine with ATI graphics: 7/11/2005 8:58:06 AM|Einstein@Home|Unrecoverable error for result l1_0249.0__0249.4_0.1_T08_S4lA_0 ( - exit code -1073741819 (0xc0000005))
