Hello,

I have been running Einstein for quite some time, running fat, dumb and happy. Now I can't upload and/or download. Checked the server status and all is green across the board. After a week I finally had to abort and reset the project, and now here is what I get:

09/09/05 17:40:28|Einstein@Home|Deferring communication with project for 5 days, 5 hours, 38 minutes, and 49 seconds
09/09/05 18:40:28|Einstein@Home|Deferring communication with project for 5 days, 4 hours, 38 minutes, and 49 seconds
09/09/05 19:40:29|Einstein@Home|Deferring communication with project for 5 days, 3 hours, 38 minutes, and 48 seconds
09/09/05 20:40:29|Einstein@Home|Deferring communication with project for 5 days, 2 hours, 38 minutes, and 48 seconds
09/09/05 21:12:48|Einstein@Home|Master file fetch failed
09/09/05 21:12:48|Einstein@Home|Deferring communication with project for 1 weeks, 2 days, 9 hours, 3 minutes, and 17 seconds

So now I can't update, get new work aor anything. Is ther ea hidden server problem?

No server problems... I'm uploading and downloading fine. The message you posted is from well down in the messages tab. Can you exit BOINC Manager, restart it, give it just a couple of minutes, then copy the messages and paste them here? The actual "error" messages SHOULD be immediately above each of the ones you posted, but if not, if you pasted a block without editing, there should at least be one or more informative ones up towards the top.

The "Master file fetch

The "Master file fetch failed" indicates that there is a general problem withe the connection to the server. If you can see the server webpage with a browser, the server is ok enough for the client to get at least the master file. Check your internet settings on your machine (URL, proxies, firewall etc.).
