I am annoyed by this frequently sent message:
"Einstein@Home: Hinweis von BOINC
Your settings do not allow fetching tasks for CPU. To fix this, you can change Project Preferences on the project's web site.
04.09.2020 05:38:31 Anubis, Horus, molchi"
I do spend the computing power of 6 GPU's in total. I know how to use the preferences. I have nothing to fix.
But i could change to some other Project.
Maybe someone else will charish my donation?

I see that message also, but
)
I see that message also, but certainly not frequently, I think it comes the first time Einstein fetches work after the system has been booted, and not again, until the next reboot, which might be weeks away. Are you rebooting or restarting BOINC frequently?
Wave upon wave of demented avengers march cheerfully out of obscurity into the dream.
Boinc manager has a setting
)
Boinc manager has a setting how often to check the notices. You can switch it off also if you like.

This will be turned off in one of the upcoming releases of the Boinc Manager we users use, it was designed to help projects that we've attached to to remind us 'hey I'm here too' but IMO has gotten out of hand!! It used be one notice every time Boinc restarted now it's THREE notices everytime Boinc gets restarted!!!

I'm sure they would but it's not likely to cause you any less annoyance. It's a BOINC problem not a project problem.
Maybe you'd like to check this thread over on the BOINC website? It's short and to the point.
Cheers,
Gary.

I get that too. Daft message considering it can only occur if I've deliberately set CPU to off.
I also get "Your app_config.xml file refers to an unknown application 'einstein_O2MDF'. Known applications: 'hsgamma_FGRP5', 'hsgamma_FGRPB1G', 'einstein_O2MD1'"
It seems einstein_O2MDF is unknown until it happens to get one.

x6 as I have 6 computers (you must be even worse). Luckily Boinctasks groups them.

YUP very much so!!! It's gotten to the point I don't even look at Boinc Notices any more on most of them, I do look at the one on my laptop but EVERY FRICKING PC gets the exact same crap on it every single time!! Sometimes when it gets over 10 or more notices in waiting before I click on it then get a couple seconds and click away and they are considered all read. Whay annoys me the MOST is Windows10 popping up a notice box telling me that I have a 'Boinc Notice'...now THAT is fricking ridiculous!!!
Oh and as long as the pc is attached to Einstein you WILL continue getting the message, it's not JUST when you are actively crunching for a project. Prime Grid used to be REALY REALLY bad about sending out bulk notices everytime something happened but they have cut WAAAAY back lately...thank goodness. I have a LONG list of projects I'm attached to on every pc and some send out a new 'Notice' everytime they finish a run of tasks...ie Yafu!!!

Since I don't use Boinc Manager, only Boinctasks, it's very easy to ignore the messages. They just sit in a tab I virtually never open. And if I do open it the ones that are the same on all the PCs are only displayed once, with a list of the PCs it was on in the line above. As for the windows ones, just choose "don't notify me about Boinc again", I do the same for other spammy messages, like AVG adverts.

I will try that in Windows and let you know if it works.
Didn't BOINC 7.16.11 fix

Didn't BOINC 7.16.11 fix this? I know I haven't seen that annoying message ever since I updated.
Edit: I see I made a post over at WCG about this issue seemingly going away: https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread_thread,42781_offset,0#640662
