You have Intel CPU's in your MACs, not PPC Processors, i believe latest version of OS X removes the backward compatibility for running Altivec code,

Altivec is to Power PC CPUs what SSE, SSE2 etc is to Intel CPUs: vector arithmetic, allowing to apply the same instruction (e.g add or multiply) to several numbers at once, in parallel.
The apps for Intel Macs from Einstein@Home support SSE(2), so you can safely ignore this message, you are automatically using the best available E@H apps for your platform.
