What about this going back to May 9th? There must be others like it. Or has this scenario been addressed?
If you notice, the last one was returned on the 11th, when the validators were having issues.
The first 2 are set as no consensus, which means once a consensus is made, credit will be given, the 3rd one is invalid (there are several errors on that one).
3 new ones went out, so it should get credit sometime.
Thanks David and Bruce for fixing the validation problem, and for making an attempt to grant the lost credit.
We're still not sure what went wrong. I have written a script that will grant the canonical credit to results with validation errors during the 8-hour period on May 11 when all results were being marked as validation errors. I'll run this script about once a day for the next several weeks. You will only get credit for validation error results after a canonical result has been found for the workunit in question. This should happen within a day or two of a canonical result being found.

yap, look at my host Tyntin (hostid=578402) it had several validation errors on May 9th, but all other computers had errors on May 11th - you can see it is obviously the same error. May I get credit for these WUs, please? 8040944 8045326 8046907 8055495
You and one other participant finished the work unit on the 9th of May and they would have been pending until the third result was returned when the validator was having problems. They were invalidated at that time, not on the 9th of May.
They should be covered by the script that Bruce mentioned just below and you will get your credit.

Just curious, will the credit(s) show up on the results page eventually?

Nevermind, been answered.

Yes!
I just made a modification to the "Workunit summary pages" so that they will correctly show the credits granted to these "validation error" workunits.
