Came home and found that all O1AS20-100F tasks on one of my machines have error status.
The event log had this in it:

and so on for every single O1AS20-100F task.
The "[error] Signature verification failed" line seems to me to be the root cause. After that all the tasks in the cache have failed within 1 second.
Have tried to google but not found anything other than antivirus program problems (I don't run any on this machine).

Any tips about what could be wrong?

All O1AS20-100F error out at once

You should reset the project on this Client so the application gets redownloaded. If this does not help someone is changing the file on the transport from our servers to your client.

Thank you. I opened the boinc

Thank you.
I opened the boinc manager to do as you suggested but saw that new O1AS20-100F had already been downloaded and was being crunched. If it happens again I'll do a complete re-install of boinc just in case.

That is strange. I wonder if

That is strange. I wonder if this is related to the issue BernD reported here. You are both using 7.6.22 on Windows 10.

RE: But I would really like

But I would really like to know what happened in this one hour window. Did you restart you computer? Did you install Windows updates? Did you restore from a backup or did your revert to a previous state in Windows System Restore?

I did none of these things during the entire day. The only thing that *might* have an impact is that I used the machine to profile a program in visual studio. The profiler measures CPU usage of all running programs so maybe it "disturbed" the E@H programs?
Only the CPU app O1AS20-100F was affected. The BRP6 app ran fine all the time, but it uses somewhat less CPU than the CPU app.

The task 559432271 of yours

The task 559432271 of yours is very curious. The application ran successfully but still the Client said the application could not be verified (which happens before the app is started).

Either something happened with your project directory or the Client lost track of what should be in the slot directories. This is similar to the four tasks reported by BernD where the Client associated the wrong file when resolving a link from the slot directory into the project directory. It's possible that happened to to you too. The Client resolved the wrong file and the verification failed (as it should). Why this is happening to single files I don't know.

Let's see if this happens again. Maybe you can do the same thing again and we'll see if this is reproducible.
