then there of course is that

then there of course is that fact that it's all just fiction. And in fiction there are no rules other then that the author created, but also those can be broken without consequence (by the author).

First time at The Peninsula.

First time at The Peninsula. Nice hotel. :-) With today's meeting postponed to Wednesday - midst much embarrassment by the hosts - I have availed myself of the complementary wifi to complain about the weather. Humid, hot, overcast and not yet 9am.

You would not like it where I live then as it's like that most Summer days, now Spring, Fall and Winter are a totally other story and the REASON I moved here, other than the fact that my wife loves the beach. It's 77F outside right now at 7:15am but it feels like it's 83F due to the humidity. Some days and evenings it's so thick it's like you could cut it with a knife!! A/C is essential here and alot of us use the condensation water from it to water our plants and trees as it runs nearly 24/7 non stop alot of days.

You have my hearty agreement there, Sir. :-)  My preference is for more air in my air than vapour.

There was that bowl of

There was that bowl of petunias ....

There most certainly was, which was Agrajag, whose first conscious thought was "Oh no, not again". After which many people speculated that if we knew exactly why the bowl of petunias thought this, we would know a lot more of the nature of the Universe than we do now.

It was a matter of returning indoors following a dawn run, and then remaining, Sir. :-)
