I brought an IBM X-Series 235 server out of the storeroom to run BOINC, but the results ar below expectation. Apparently the Xenon is no number cruncher. Now I want to replace it with an Intel i5 750 machine. Do I just stop the Xenon and start over with the Intel i5, or is there a special procedure. Advice will be greatly appreciated.

Advice needed on switching computers
)
Why switching? Just let the Xeon finish its three remaining tasks and then retire it.
You can attach the i5 and start crunching even before the Xeon has finished.
