Then requesting work we get the message: Requesting X seconds of work, returning 0 results on the message tab. I think it would be interesting for debugging reasons to add a reply from the scheduler saying something like this: scheduler sending Y seconds of work.
Then you're really interested in a subject, there is no way to avoid it. You have to read the Manual.

I agree, and if you don't mind, I'll also post this on the SETI Wishlist (cause BOINC programmers are more likely to read that one)
