I would like the initiate transfer feature or a way to contact the team founder added to the team page.

They'll need to upgrade the server. Hopefully most projects will be doing this soon as a server upgrade is needed for a new feature in the alpha core client to work (sending a 32 bit science app to a host with the 64 bit core client when the project doesn't provide at 64 bit science app)

I too would like to see this feature added.
Our team founder has become unreachable, and being that via project message boards or email is the only way to contact, with no response since late 2005, we can only assume the worst. His disappearance was just around the time a bad hurricane, Katrina, hit the US. I've never seen a post from him since then, no activity on any of his hosts on any project and email has never been replied to from me or from any other team member.
I was appointed new team leader which I have been able to convert or get the project developers to manually convert me on all but 2 or 3 projects, this being one of those.
Can this feature please be added so I may convert our team, I've waited 2 years plus, another 60 days for the conversion is not going to bother me.
If not, can a project developer please make me the founder of the team I am a member of. If you look at the other projects you will see I am listed as founder on them. Try emailing the old founder yourself. You can also look at our team message board where you will see I am moderator and administrator.
This is about the 4th attempt over the past 2 years to get this done on this project.

I'll let you know in 60 days if the transfer completes with out problems which works out to be Halloween, So I'll hopefully get a treat and not a trick.
