Hi,
I have a computer Created: 9 Sep 2008 11:32:54 UTC
They work all time for einstein
reported done Time reported: 10 Sep 2008 5:54:28 UTC
granted credit = 222,75
but in http://einstein.phys.uwm.edu/hosts_user.php
Avg. credit = 21.24, Total credit = 222
I have a question WHY avg. credit is 21 ?
total credit / day = avg. credit per day - it's true ?
I have another one computer Created 5 Sep 2008 11:56:43 UTC
in http://einstein.phys.uwm.edu/hosts_user.php
Total credit = 1333, Avg. credit = 105.50
1333 / 5 = 266 but not 105
sorry for my english
Cheers,
Gary.

Adam's Questions about RAC (moved to a new thread)

No, there's a decay in there as well. Else your RAC could grow without boundaries.
The formula used is
RAC(new) = RAC(old)*d(t) + (1-d(t))*credit(new)
Where d(t) is the decay function, and t is the time (in seconds) since the last Recent Average Credit recalculation.
See Recent Average Credit for more information.

The formula for RAC is a bit more complex. It is explained at the Unofficial BOINC Wiki.
