Hi anyone else having this issue with settings repeatedly resetting not sure if its boincstats doing it but its making my Raspberry Pi 3 wu error out as i get neon instead of neon beta wu's.

How are you setting the settings? From your Einstein web account page? From BOINC Manager? Another way? Are you using a third-party account manager of some kind?
How are you observing the settings values that you see as "resetting"?
I think the single most common problem from people who think their settings instructions are not being complied with is location (aka venue) confounding. People set and observe settings for a location which is not the location assigned to the host in question, then wonder why it does not comply. Any chance this is an issue in your case? (generic|home|school|work).

I'm talking about the settings in https://einsteinathome.org/account/prefs/project that are either reset or in the case of home/school/work settings are completely wiped not the computer location settings or boinc settings that work fine and i use boincstats.

Boincstats is a statistics site that enable Boinc participants to compare stats from different projects.
Do you mean that you use BAM, Boinc Account Manager? It's developed and maintained by the same person/persons that run Boincstats but are not the same.
If you use BAM then I think you need to make all settings there. As I don't use an account manager I'm not sure this is the case but others have reported similar problems when trying to update settings directly via the project site and not through the BAM site/account.

I don't think its BAM ive disabled the AMS functions and all hosts are detached and its still resetting.
