Hope someone might be able to help me. I tried to attach to another project but was unsuccessful as the system tells me that my email address is non-existant.
I know the email account I used as the account page is open. However, if I log off I cannot log back on once more.
Wondering what I can do for this. Anyone have any idea?
Thanks

Where does this happen, on the other project or here?
Also, it's not too clear to me what you're actually doing. Do you think that since you have an account here, that you automatically have an account at any other BOINC project? Since you won't.
Not unless you used the BOINC Wide Teams (BWTs) option as team founder and the other project imported the BWTs.
If you try to attach to the other project but you never made an account there, you will need to make a new account -- or attach to it as a new user.
Whenever you're at the account page, double check the email address and which case it's (partially) typed in. Example given, is not the same as according to BOINC.
Of course, when you made a typo in the actual email address when you attached the first time, one you won't be able to remember, then it's almost impossible to restore such an account if you're not already attached to it. Then you can only email the project's administrator and hope he or she will help you that way.
Hi Jord, I can log in to

Hi Jord,
I can log in to my account using my email and password. However, when I forgot my password, I entered my password and it told me that my account was not in use. When I remembered my password, again I could login. So I'm curious.
When I try to attach to a project, no problem as I put in email and new password.
However, silly me forgot my password again and somehow, I am stuck. No worries though.
Cheers.

You mean in the BOINC Attach to Project wizard, or here on the project web site?
As here on the project web site, when you don't know your password, you can use the forgotten information link to log back in. Of course, that doesn't help if you're not attached to the project either. ;-)
As long as you are logged in (and you are, since you can post to the forums), go to your account and change the password. The old password isn't required to change (to) the new password.
