Wow, I thought my Dell was slow in taking about 95,000 seconds on average for an ABP1 task. Unfortunately, after I installed the Beta on it, I've only been getting S5 tasks (sigh). Since it is my slowest E@H cruncher, I had only put the beta on it so far.
Well, it got the first ABP1 3.09 WU finished and validated, and the CPU time was 93,119 seconds, whereas the previous 2 WU's were 97,057 and 93,974 seconds. So, within the expected variability, I'm in the camp that this is a small (but still welcome) improvement over 3.07.

Seems this app has now made it to "prime time" since my host downloaded it on Monday night.
Unfortunately, the screen saver appears not to function - on my box at least. All I get is the default BOINC screen saver with the project/WU info. :-(
Running WinXP 64bit, BOINC 6.4.7, installed as a service (protected user).
