I'd be curious if there are still machines out there without SSE and how they'd react on this App (the FFTW doku is somewhat ambiguous at that point).
During your absence, my Celeron 400 MMX has completed (and now reported) task 136524989 in 313,734 seconds. Looks OK so far: just have to wait - no we won't, it's validated already.
This box has crunched ABP1 before: whichever application was current on 9 Apr 2009 took 314,145 seconds - message 96421 - so you can claim this one has speeded up by almost 7 minutes! I'll try and run some more to see what the variation is.
This result finished in 64280.92 seconds using v3.09 and is now waiting for its wingman to report. A good improvement over this result's 78122.38 seconds with the stock app (v3.08) on the same host. BTW: Congrats to the staff on the crash recovery! My beta result was uploaded just prior to the crash but it didn't report until today - no problem!
A new Einstein@home ABP1 App for Windows is available for Beta Test at Beta Test Page...
The installation path on the Beta Test Page for Windows (and probably the other OS too) is no longer correct
4. Locate the einstein project directory. If you installed everything with default settings, it should be "C:\Program Files\BOINC\projects\einstein.phys.uwm.edu\"
Put the files from the zip archive into there.
Since BOINC version 6 the project directory is located beneath the BOINC data directory, as denoted in the BOINC startup messages.

Why? Old graphics card?
I see the same message for the CPU-version. How can I solve this problem?
Start with the 3.07 (CUDA)
)
Start with the 3.07 (CUDA) download and app_info file.
I added some 3.08 references, and a 308 app_version section.
Do the same thing, but instead of 308, take the 309 files and the 308/309 version information from the files referenced in this thread.

Are only the 3.09 WU's faster with this Beta.
Can't rlly compare because the WU-size changes within each type

Only my second ABP1 3.09 unit. All previous units from stock app have been deleted - so I can't compare it to anything (but, it did verify).
