The last time this request was put forward was almost two years ago. Would it be possible now that almost all new hardware being sold uses 64 bit processors and both Windows and Linux come in 64 bit versions to get versions of the Einstein apps in 64 bit? Or at least give me 32 bit apps to run on my 64 bit systems if possible.

Thanks

64 bit linux client

It will automatically run the 32 bit in the 64 bit if you have the 32 bit drivers installed on your linux.

Which 32 bit drivers are you

Which 32 bit drivers are you referring to? I am running Ubuntu 9.10 (Karmic) 64 bit. I found several Lib32* packages but I'm not sure which one(s) I need. I installed one called something like glib-i386 but it did not help. I can post the exact message I'm getting from e@h when I get home but it says something about not having a linux-x86-64 app.

This link might be helpful: http://boinc.berkeley.edu/wiki/Installing_on_Linux#Ubuntu.

With Ubuntu, look for the "ia32" packages and install them.
