I just came over from SETI classic (after five years there), so I am a newbie to BOINC. At first I found the BOINC software exceedingly unintuitive but am sorting it out now and am merrily crunching both SETI and Einstein.
Anyway, my question is this, I seem to be crunching two Einstein units— in addition to the Seti unit —(when one is running the others are suspended). Is this normal?

2 workunits normal?
)
Hollis,
Welcome aboard Einstein@Home. Yes, it is completely normal for queued workunits to be displayed.
Regards,
Michael
(edit) The quantity of workunits in-queue is determined by the number of projects attached, their respective resource shares, and the value in the "Connect to.." setting in General Preferences, which you should keep at default value or relatively low, no more than 0.5 days to start.

Thanks! I was concerned that it was going to take forever to get a result out.
P.S. I love the Einstein screensaver!
