It's the "ERR_RESULT_START" error in BOINC. This can happen when Einstein hasn't downloaded all the files it requires. Please for reference, post the last 20 to 30 messages from your Messages tab, plus post which files you have in your \\BOINC\\projects\\einstein.phys.uwm.edu folder.

It's too late now.
I've totally removed, w/a diskclean, then reloaded BOINC, but w/o any luck.
When I first ran BOINC/Enstein@Home on Vista, it ran OK, then all of a sudden it stated to spit them out as errors. Now it won't even download any.
Anyone here know this error code is and what it means?

have you applied any MS hotfix lately?
Some hotfixes change internal firewall settings. Seems to me that BOINC no longer has access to its own files...
