In transition to the S5GC1 run, we're currently sending out the rest of S5GCE tasks without locality scheduling. This leads to additional transfer volume on both the client and the server side. If you care about data volume or have a slow internet connection, you should suspend Einstein@Home for a few hours or days. Our download mirrors are currently overloaded. We hope that things will be back to normal once we start shipping out S5GC1 work hopefully in less than an hour.

In preparation of the S5GC1 run, which should start at the end of the week, we switched off sending deletion requests for S5GCE data files to the clients

In preparation of the S5GC1 run, which should start at the end of the week, we switched off sending deletion requests for S5GCE data files to the clients. This is to prevent clients from having to download them again for the new, saving bandwidth on both client and server side.
