WU results will not upload. my PC's been trying for DAYS

In particular, the result file size is 137.98KB, yet the WU keeps 'hanging' having already "uploaded' 138.49KB ... what gives??
Is this a general BOINC problem? I've on occasion experienced it with other projects.
I think, therefor I THINK I am.
