https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hexentanzplatz_(Harz)

The 'Hexentanzplatz', literally the witches' dance floor above the Bode Gorge is a famous tourist spot in the Harz mountains (Saxony Anhalt, Germany).

It is part of old German legends. Johann Wolfgang von Goethe (one of the most important German poets and writers of the 18th/19th century) mentioned this place in his masterpiece "Faust" (every German high school student reads it in German class).
