Pretty much snow removal is a cottage industry around here.. Driveway was cleared three times by snowblower. It took me three hours clear the deck and walkway. Down town is a mess. Most secondary roads are sort of cleared but there is no parking spaces where the meters are. Just in garages. The sidewalks are not cleared. It going to take three or four days before things get back to normal. Normally downtown roads are cleared by blowing the snow into dump trucks and dumping it into the harbor and that just takes time. No damage to the dunes on the north shore :-)

I haven't seen that much snow in a long time...When the snow is that deep and drifted...Back to normal can be a distant dream.

We should get on average about 330 cm or about 10 feet during a winter and it stays around... but we do enjoy winter activiites like outdoor skating skiing and snow mobiling.. Winter can be long (with major snow fall) from November to April.. But summer is just around the corner..

It's the famous "sea effect" snow that blesses you with all that snowy fun.
