I don't hold Columbus Day as a celebratory occasion personally. Columbus did not "discover" America in the sense of finding it first. The First Nations/Native Americans/Amerindians, Leif Erickson, the Olmecs (large statues showing a decided "foreign" attributes, osteological evidence etc.) to name a few proven or credible examples.


Yes, but he linked it to Europe, for good and bad. Without him, whatever his birth nationality, there would be neither USA nor Canada.

We used to get off school for Columbus day...So i guess that counts for something...Anything that got me out of school was cool with me.

school i had to walk up and

school i had to walk up and down hill just to get there but when it snowed thats when the fun startted they would put u on the back of a bull hit it on the but u hang on for about 15sec. then jump off and u was there lol lol
good thing we dont get to much snow
