Anniet I think it would look

Anniet I think it would look very funny from a distance as you ZOOMED out your front door like you were in a great big rush to get away from something!! Once you were on the sidewalk and collected yourself though it would make one wonder WHY you rushed out so fast only to stop once you got outside.

Fortunately, Mikey, how I exit, or enter my front door, or fail to and get trapped in both the letter box and catflap at the same time whilst trying to break in, is not visible to the world at large as I am shielded from view by a wooden gate. How I exit and enter that though, isn't. No, and has the added feature of attention-seeking "look-over-here-at-the-sudden-racket" sound effects, which people very much do.

Now that we are on about words I will throw an oldie out there...what does "ghoti" sound like when you say it?

I very much want to say goatee, but apparently, it's fish :)

Now I can actually put the car in the garage instead of in the driveway.

YAY!! That is good news! :)

The only thing worse than stepping in cat puke with your shoe is doing that while not wearing one.  e.g. 2 am bathroom run.

It's where I get most of my heel-hobbling practise done. Hopping, I 've discovered, carries the risk of collateral splattering en route.

Dogs have owners, cats have staff.

:)))

It's very true.

I'll have to tell you about my day later. Mainly because you used the word "staff" Gary...

Please wait here. Further instructions could pile up at any time. Thank you.

But think of all the love

But think of all the love your cats bring!  Just this morning Gidgette was ordering me where to scratch on her head.  And making biscuits with her overgrown nails.  Scratched up my arm just for fun.

I hope your "staff" isn't

I hope your "staff" isn't spelled "staph"!!!

A long time ago is a universe far away I nearly had a bunch of tee-shirts printed up with "Staff Infection" for the staff.  They got the more common company name "Staff" though.

Can you really blame them, it's something that grabs their attention from what they were doing and is something new to look at until it becomes ordinary again.

YES that's correct!! You take the 'gh' from the word enough', the 'o' from the word women, and the 'ti' from the word motion and you have the word 'ghoti' that sounds like fish!! It was used as an example by a comedian to show how hard the english language can be for people trying to learn it.

Cold and snowy today.  A perfect day for a cup of tea and typing in family recipes into the computer.
