As for the job, I can't  lift 75  pounds.  I guess that leaves me out.

Ugh.  Bad day yesterday.  A truck tried to get into the lane I was in.  I ended up a hill on the side of the road.  Some damage to the underside of the car.  But I'm OK.

Does this mean I get a long win?

Good to know it was not

Good to know it was not worse, Kathryn. Fortune wears a fickle smile :-( Yet a path of least resistance up a hill - is better than none. Take care. :-) My best wishes to you on your upcoming op, also.

It is car trouble enforcing an overnight stop in Marrakech this evening, hence my presence here. The connectivity is at least, almost reliable ;-)

One's congratulations on your win are overdue, Mr Charpentier. Well done to you sir. :-)

It is my hope your son finds something soon, Mikey.

Thank you very much, we will talk about it today but I don't know if he will follow thru on anything, he's comfy in his current very part-time job that pays enough to cover his expenses. But NOT enough to cover any future retirement etc, I put some away for him but he has to get there first.

I'm sorry to hear about your own car troubles, I hope that's the end of them as I have a 5 hour drive today and tomorrow to go pickup my wife, and then bring her back home, after her having surgery this past Friday. They said she's doing great and are discharging her a day early but told her she had to stay in the area overnight 'just in case'. I wasn't looking forward to a 10+ hour drive anyway so it's works out for me too.

The surgery was a sudden thing and the Dr says all new parts are working great and should last forever, mechanical parts are lifetime ones they say, normally anyway!!

I came over all curious about

I came over all curious about 75kg's.

So I found this out for us.

I have lifted average eleven year olds and survived without ambulance intervention in the past. I'm not sure how far we'd progress moving in the horizontal forward plane nowadays though. I suspect we might do better, go further, and faster, backwards if it was a piggy-back I was providing... at least until they hit the ground then got pinned there by my near simultaneous arrival on top of them. If it's just a matter of picking something up then landing it again any-old-how then I'll do it... in July. Actually, make that August.

;)

the Dr says all new parts are working great and should last forever,

Awww :) that's good news. I hope the drive was trouble-free for you and she's home safe and sound now too.

I'm very glad there was a hill to go up, Kathryn and that you're okay :)

Please wait here. Further instructions could pile up at any time. Thank you.
