Why do doctors have to practice?
You'd think they'd have got it right by now

Oh Lord you are right of course! Serves me right for getting up so early :-(

Ok scraps the second a, and while no-ones looking quickly borows one of Annie's apostrophes. There how's that "t' us apply" with a Yorkshire accent!

Nah, they'll never wear it ....

WOW!!!  This is my first Post

WOW!!!  This is my first Post in this Thread.  Surprised

I've been busy in the Technical News area of the Forums.  I have been reading here, though...

Has anyone noticed the ground dropping beneath you all???  (Hence why I've been busy in the Technical News area...)  We've gone from 1.12 FGRP Units ALL THE WAY to 1.17 FGRP.  But, no one here in the Cafe has mentioned the changes.  Well, I noticed!!!  The more they fiddled, the more the floor dropped from under us.  RAC has plummeted for me on both systems.  HOWEVER; as of yesterday, Granted Credit will NOW be 3300 per Validated 1.17 Unit!!!!! Laughing

The original 1.17 Units were ONLY getting awarded 693 Credits; Christian kept an eye on things, and then modified that to 1365 not too long ago.  Bernd announced yesterday that new 1.17 work from yesterday and forward will earn 3300.  So, hopefully, my RAC will recover in a few weeks to a month.  I dropped from 103K RAC on BRP4G Work down to 56K RAC as of today from 1.12 FGRP to 1.17 FGRP Units...

I look forward to climbing back up towards 103K RAC.  While RAC IS NOT everything; AND, the Science IS IMPORTANT, it is nicer to see a higher RAC for the work put in.  Especially when, (like me), one crunches 15 Hours a day on two machines with three GPUs crunching TWO Units at a time per GPU card.

Good luck to all of you; I hope RAC improves for everyone here.

God bless, keep the faith, and Happy Crunching.  Smile

His turn to change the train wheels from clockwise ones to anti-clockwise ones ?

With the help of a bucket of steam, a screwdriver for left handed threads, and a full tube of elbow grease. I won't even talk about the goose nipples.

Cheers, Mike.

Can I be excused Mr Foreman

Can I be excused Mr Foreman Sir, I've lost the bubble from my spirit level.

Of course heres a chitty, now go to the stores and get another one. And while you're at it get me a Birmingham Screwdriver, a couple of sky hooks, and a tin of striped paint.

Thank you very much!! I too appreciate it when my RAC is higher rather than lower!!
