The fix is in the app version(s) 1.39, which was published on Einstein@Home yesterday.
Is the new version actually being deployed?
None of my hosts (that I've looked at) has had the new version yet.
They've all downloaded new work recently.
I'm new to all of this and am really interested but my system has been stuck at 250 credits the last two weeks even though both my phone and computer seem to be running tasks daily. Does anyone know why it seems to be "stuck"?

Don't know why it stuck but the only to task assigned to you computer both missed their 14 day deadline so for some reason they did not finish and report in, as to why I can't tell. Check to see if they are still running and if so abort them as you will not get credit for them.
Your Android device does seem to receive, crunch and report task as it should so nothing out of the ordinary there.
I think you got it! There have been no more restarts since the 1.39 app started working. Took a day or so to clean our the 1.33 work, but all good since then.
I don't know why the task exits, but don't reset the project; the message is very misleading!
Since your computers are hidden, I can't tell much, but perhaps a reboot might help.
Does the progress of the task advance between exits?

Gundolf
I am getting that all the time on my HP notebook which only Runs SETI@HOME
I Do Not Get It on my Desktop which also runs other Projects besides SETI@HOME
I have been told in one of the Threads some time ago, that it can happen for Various Reasons, such as when your Computer Does Auto Updates or Virus Scans etc.. I have read something in the SETI or BOINC Help Pages, that it has No Detrimental Effect. So Just Ignore It: Even though it's annoyning and clogs up Your Event Log.
I have found that a RESTART Will Not Make Any Difference.
As far as Resetting goes, It Won't do Any harm. Just make sure that you Click on NO NEW TASKS, and wait until all COMPLETED TASKS Have Uploaded, and that All Running Tasks that are Past the (let's say 25% Completed Mark) have Completed and that they have been Uploaded after Completion. Any that are Less Than 25% Completed, Just SUSPEND each of Those Tasks, before you RESET The Project.
You will Receive Either The same Tasks or New Tasks, or a Combination of each.
HOWEVER, I have done this NUMEROUS TIMES on my Notebook with SETI@HOME ...... But It Didn't Make any Difference. I Only Reset Now if it appears that I am not Going To Complete The Earliest Due Tasks by the Due Date.
