I didn't do that - change anything, I mean. Just clicked on update, and submitted ;)

Really?? Update on its own didn't seem to work for me. I had to update preferences first and only then did the project update work immediately.

Did anybody else get the thing to work by updating the project only??

Cheers,
Gary.

Gary, what Bruno meant was that you don't actually have to change anything under general preferences... just open them up and click update, then update the project. :)

No, no, what you wrote was fine now that I re-read it and notice "update and submitted....". Beautiful economy of words actually, something I'm not noted for possessing... :).

Congrats on E@H UOTD btw :).

Cheers,
Gary.

Thanks for the solution

Thanks for the solution everyone!
This does not sound like "your everyday" solution to upload problems.
Is there a reason why one has to do this to get things back on track?

Yes, we all want to crunch and if we have to jump through hoops to do so then most here are nutty enough to do just that!!! :).

Seriously, until s Dev fills us in, we are probably going to have to keep using this workaround at least until Monday I suspect. If anyone had been actively working on this I suspect they would have been kind enough to drop a small note somewhere (hint, hint, hint) just to let us know.

This is far from normal behaviour so the problem will go away eventually....

Cheers,
Gary.

Go to your account, general preferences, go to edit, change nothing, just update them, then update Einstein in your Boinc.

Dunno why, but it works afterwards.
