Good afternoon Tullio, from the UK - and sunny and warm as well (for a change).
Happy birthday, and I am pleased to see you posting, and feel sorry for the SETI poster who insulted you.
I have not found the same, but then I am 8 years younger (in the flush of youth). Yes, the SETI boards did get toxic a few years ago, but seem to have quietened. But, I don't post there too much now, and offer 1 old PC to that project now.
I am watching the Giro d'Italia cycle race reaching l'Aquila and it rains cats and dogs. But here near Milano it is sunny too.Grazie anche a te.
Tullio
Well I'm glad I just saw this here.....not sure what made me even check all the threads just now.
Must be the pouring rain and wind here that was keeping me off the golf course.
Tullio and I started here the same week and have seen him on the LHC
Now the Italian in me still doesn't get me to watch cycling in the rain or the sun but even though I am a bit late with this......
Happy Birthday from way over here where my neighbor is that guy named Bill Gates.....and many more for you young man Tullio
Thanks MAGIC. An Australian from Tasmania is leading the Giro. His name is Richie Porte and he is 25 year old. All wishes to him too, I hope he survives the third race week with all the mountain passes.

There are no flat spots in Tassie, except sometimes the ocean that surrounds it. The locals come over to the mainland to view plains, and we go there to see what is really meant by the word valley ( and tree ). So he'll have an excellent background on terrain grounds .... :-)
Cheers, Mike.
( edit ) I nearly froze to death there once, in my misguided youth, at a place called Federation Peak ( southwest area ). Turned up in totally the wrong bloody month for being out & about, got stuck in a 'southerly buster' straight from Antarctica. Six feet of snow in 8 hours, lost 10kg walking out .....
I have made this letter longer than usual because I lack the time to make it shorter ...
... and my other CPU is a Ryzen 5950X :-) Blaise Pascal
So he won't be afraid of Monte Grappa, Mortirolo and Zoncolan, all very steep both uphill and downhill. My best to him, we need some new blood in cycling.

After 3 very hard mountain days Richie Porte is still third after two older and very experienced riders, Spain's Arroyo and Italy's Basso. Very good.

Three Australians win a honor at Giro d'Italia: best young rider Richie Porte, best climber Matthew Lloyd, best in the points classification Cadel Evans.

since I have been insulted as an old man in a SETI message board.
I laughed out loud as soon as I saw this, as I'm imagining somebody around my age typing in "you're too old to be here, get off our lawn!"
I'm going to sneak in and wish you a happy 76th birthday, so that next year I've already wished you happy birthday *muahahaha*
Mines may 111th but I set it to may 10th on bit-tech for a one day warning ;)

Thanks a lot, Doctor. Einstein crunchers seem to be different from SETI crunchers. But I like the SETI developers, especially Matt Lebofsky, they are very polite and also communicating. Also the AQUA developers are nice, like those at QMC and QuantumFire.
