You're not requesting any work. Probably because another project you're attached to has got some debt over Einstein to which BOINC is now paying back CPU time. Or another project has lots of work in deadline trouble and therefore BOINC stops downloading work until that work is done.
A third option is that you put Einstein to No New Tasks. This shows in BOINC Manager->Advanced view->Projects tab->Einstein@Home, Status column, as "Won't get new tasks". If you see that mentioned in the Status column, select Einstein and click "Allow new tasks". The button here shows the option you have, not the state it is presently in.
But I am guessing, without having seen any of your numbers, that BOINC is just paying back CPU time to another project. That will fix itself in due time.

Cosmology@home has send me many WU's and they take a lot of memory, also, they all have to be done next wednesday, so I think it's option 2.
Thanks Ageless:-)
I have the opposite problem of Julie... For reasons unknown I end up with about 250 tasks. It usually only happens once every 2 - 3 months, but there's no way my machine can finish this many before they expire. The last time it happened I updated my BOINC manager, but this time it's current. Any thoughts?

Perhaps it's the current lack

Perhaps it's the current lack of ABP tasks that causes this, as Gary Roberts has explained in this thread.
