Adi: While I personally don't

Adi: While I personally don't agree with your choice, I really like the way you expressed it :-D that made me laugh. I hope your next checks will be somewhat more satisfying and you'll come back with more crunching power soon!

My original message on this

My original message on this thread said in part:

>One of my 6 computers recently started S5R2. It has produced 7 results, all of >whom are reported as "client error". The computer can be seen at >http://einsteinathome.org/host/496909

The answer for me was to "reset project". All 3 subsequent wus have been fine.

There seems to be a large

There seems to be a large problem with S5R2 program. Great majority of WU's on two computers running suse 10.2 and suse 10.1 are failing to complete. I devote all of my Boinc time to Einstein@Home as the most worth while project. These problems are making me reconsider my my participation in project and its wear and tear on computers and associated electrical cost.

So, try out the Beta Test? This link actually goes to the forum message that explains the app, and points you how to get it.

Thanks Joe. I've been looking on the forum for problems with downloading WUs -I've been getting:

[pre] Host Project Date Message
TGMAST Einstein@Home 10/05/2007 22:27:50 (not requesting new work or reporting completed tasks)
[/pre]

Was trying to work out what settings to specify, but changing the connect times and resource shares didn't work. You're suggestion of resetting the Project worked fine.
