Remember there's always BOINC Debt Viewer, which can reset debt as well as display it. You just have to shut down the BOINC client yourself.

LOL...

Agreed.

And I still am running your BOINC Debt Logger, too. ;-)

It's a big help in trying to get a handle on what debt is doing, and why! :-)

And why do I only get new units with a very short expiry date?

What do you mean with "short"? All my Einstein tasks (both S5R5 and ABPS) have a deadline of 14 days; that's plenty.

Gruß,
Gundolf

What I mean with short is the time you mention, so short that the manager decides to give it high priority all the time. It makes my computer do only work for Einstein and not for the other 2 projects, including my main project which is still Seti. Sorry for that last remark.

I will empty my cache and reset the project. The other way is something I don't like to do since it sounds "dangerous". Sorry Paul.

NO worries... I don't mind ... not my system :)

It is not dangerous at all. Just annoying. I asked for a button to make it easier for people that have enough on their plates than writing a text file, finding the right place to put it and all the other arcane nonsense... Alas ... C programmers seem to like to make things hard ... not sure why ...

In the mean time things seem

In the mean time things seem to have stabilized a bit. I still have Einstein units which have be ready in a week, but the manager also allows units from other projects to be crunched.
So I did enable all 3 projects and at the moment I'm back in business as I like to be.

Thanks guys for all the info and help.
