Hi Oliver, What I'm trying

Hi Oliver,

What I'm trying to get at is the discrepancy primarily in boinc of the current stats. boinc flatlines at 00:01 hrs , no new amount is shown until much later for E@H and A@H, however MW@H has a line that does increment from 00:01 hrs..

So its noticeable. As for Boinc Combined, I have no idea when they poll for data, or increment it, but given the boinc stats tab, I too more notice of the boinc combined and whereas the other 2 projects seem to be current or very close to it, the same is again not the case for E@H.

Basically I'm nitpicking:-) I stay awake during the wee small hours and monitor my computers and to some extent micro manage their operation. So I guess I tend to notice oddities:-)

Since E@H actually exports its stats, is there a set time to do so? I'd assumed the the stats websites polled for the data, not that it was sent to them. So if projects send the info now only at diff times but also more frequently it would account for discrepancies.

But the biggest irritant isn't boinc combined, it the actual mangers stats tab displaying no increment for 2 projects, but still incrementing the other one. Weird I'd have expected it to do the same for every project in progress.

My impression is that the

My impression is that the project posts a large file, or perhaps multiple files, and that the third-party statistics sites later read them, and must take additional time to process them and prepare user output.

To get updated statistics for your review, both operations must have been performed. As a long-term BOINCstats user, it is my approximate impression that the value for my overall Einstein work seems to be updated daily about 7 AM Mountain time, while the individual machine data usually seems to update a few hours later. There may be additional incremental updates during the day, but it is definitely not a continuous process.

Why is everything now in bold

Why is everything now in bold text/font?? I can't tell which threads I've read/have new posts and the post count links are all gone that would bring you to the last unread post.

I'm afraid this is not happening to me. Are all threads being labeled bold? Even ones with not activity for years? Does this happen in all browsers? Does it occur if you use an browser in "incognito" or Private browsing mode?

Are you logged out by any chance? Even if you never log yourself out, there is a cookie which times out after a few weeks.

I posted w/o logging back in.

I posted w/o logging back in. Doesn't everything looks like it's been read, not bold, if logged out?

Everything looked bold in Chrome, my normal browser. I closed the same tab I had open the night before and it was bold when I posted. Normal 100% magnification. At work now and it seems fine, the way it normally looks at home/work. I'll have to check again at home.

That's about right, we're providing new stats for users, hosts and teams every 12 hours (at 2 AM/PM UTC). We do so because generating stats stresses our database to a certain degree and generating them more often doesn't make much sense anyway.

HTH,

You also need to save the selection (bottom left) in order to apply it. I just tested this and I could switch between languages with no problem. It always changed to the correct language after saving the changes.

This is because you also selected test applications which currently overrides the selection. You can only opt in to all beta apps and can not exclude specific beta applications. We have a plan to change that.

This is not enough. I've changed language to any other one and then changed back to English. This works. I assume, this is website update issue. Initial language was local in despite of setting.

Got it. But:
