Upping the cpu percentage may cause more lag when you try to do other things, so go slowly and back off when it gets unbearable. It seems as though you too are headed for some Boinc only machines in your future!!
There are 2 CPU% settings, for CPU cores, now at 45% and CPU time, at 80%,
no great lag so far.
Already have 1:-) TPMO2 just crunches, but only 6 to 7 hours a day. Keeps the electricity bill down, just crunching at economy rates:-)
Main rig will never be just a cruncher, its my home server, 12 TB of HDD etc
hence cooling can be an issue..

Hi cliff,
Yeah I too have a few non Boinc only machines, but that's why I got more and more machines in the first place, so I can run more projects at once. It just worked out that the settings let me set those machines to crunch harder than my other machines.
And I have around 12TB of storage too but not in ONE machine, mine is spread across all of my machines.
