This same behavior occurs with the SETI and Rosetta projects the only changes I have made recently is installing latest BOINC client(5.8.16), this after I installed a RAID 0 array of new drives and reloaded all software(running Vista premium). I also attempted to run the einstien Beta application but have since removed the .xml file since it didn't resolve anything apparently. Any information on this would be appreciated.

But it's not maybe that your Drive Letter has changed in the process of upgrading your PC? That could confuse BOINC quite a bit.
The drive letter is the same. As it happens I checked the BOINC webpages for solutions and decided to uninstall the client. Then I removed the BOINC folder and reinstalled the program, problem is solved all running ok now.
Does anyone know French enough to help the person posting in French? I can read it enough to understand that they're complaining about not getting work for "4 days", although I'm not sure if they are meaning that they don't think they should get work that will take 4 days to complete or if they haven't gotten work in 4 days, which doesn't seem to be the case since they received some work on one system both 3 days ago and again 12 hours ago... Not sure about the other system though...

They have received one WU on June 29 and another on July 1 on their first computer, none on the second which appears to be a slower machine. Maybe it is overloaded with other apps, which they do not mention. I would have replied to them in French but it is difficult to type French on an Italian keyboard. No wonder that English is the preferred language on the WWW.

Dredging through the scheduler logs, I can see that they have Einstein set to only 25% resource share. It could be debt issues because of the slower processor and/or other projects going into EDF...

DuFutur tried again recently, in an unrelated thread in Crunchers’ Corner, addressing questions to the "professor". I tried to reply over there anyway; the host had just received a WU but I made a request to post some messages from the log if whatever problem recurs. (My French is lousy, but—I hope—a little better than a machine translation. The Mac OS scheme of “dead-key shortcuts to all the common accented characters and printers’ punctuation, on a US-English keyboard, is second nature to me—so that aspect at least is no obstacle.)

Your French is good and the Mac is a great computer. I am using both WIN98SE and Linux an an old but valid Intel CPU (a PII Deschutes) and it gets regularly both Einstein and SETI WUs. Only QMC, my third project, is not giving me any work unless I suspend at least one of the other 2. Share is Einstein 300, SETI and QMC 100, time to connect 0.05 days. But I leave to BOINC 5.8.17 to manage it all.
