humor is not what our reaction should be, instead we should be doing this:

http://www.williambowles.info/iraq/2006/0706/bush_criminal_charges.html

Reykjavik, Iceland (3 July 2006) – A group of ten Icelandic citizens filed yesterday at the Office of the State’s Police Chief criminal charges against George H.W. Bush, former U.S. President, who is expected in Iceland this evening at the invitation of Icelands’s President Olafur R. Grimsson.

The group accuses former President Bush for participation in war crimes, crimes against humanity...
George H.W. Bush is charged of initiating a war of aggression against Panama in 1989 ... is furthermore charged for his command responsibility for the multiple war crimes committed by US forces in the Gulf War in 1991, including the policy of deliberately bombing civilian targets and the massacre of soldiers hors combat...

I think his son will have his part too sooner or later

Funny, I didn't see this on

Funny, I didn't see this on Fox News. (Hmmmm, is it because I refuse to watch the propoganda machine of Herr Gobbels, opps, I mean, Mr. Rove). In fact, I didn't see it in either the L.A. or N.Y. Times today... are they slipping because of the heat they are taking over the disclosure of illegal data minning without benefit of court orders? Enquiring minds want to know.

Well, I am not sure how legal it would be in the U.S. but one could start a 'Indict George Walker Bush' thread - with appropriate wording for the charges - and see how many people sign-up by posting a 'me too' message supporting the idea.

I am sure it already exists

I am sure it already exists somewhere on the 'net. But, as in another era, another President, another war, "The Silent Majority" are not so much silent as the Leadership refuses to listen.

But they all listen come polling-day so the Silent Majority had better speak its mind then - LOUD and clear - or there will be more of the same.

US citizens are not subject to International Law, mores the pity. Furthermore, Former President Bush has Diplomatic Immunity, again, mores the pity.

RE: Donald Rumsfeld briefed

Quote:

Donald Rumsfeld briefed the President this morning. He told Bush that 3 Brazilian soldiers had been killed in Iraq.

To everyone's amazement, all of the colour ran from Bush's face, and he collapsed onto his desk, head in hands, visibly shaken, almost whimpering. Finally, he composed himself and asked Rumsfeld, "Just exactly how many is a brazilian?

Donald Rumsfeld? He doesn't know how many a brazilian is! It was Condoleezza Rice all along. In fact she's the only one in the US cabinet that knows what's going on. Damn it, she's the one running America!

I didn't know that Condi was brazilian. I always imagined her being groomed to be an American version of England's Elizabeth I - something like the second 'Virgin Queen' but with a weird hairstyle. ;-)

Doing what? Wasting time, effort and money to tilt at windmills to convince ourselves that we've done something.

These people have done absolutely nothing to make the world a better place, but they did make themselves feel better about themselves. That's just symbolism over substance and a waste.

Cordially,
