I got the 120mm AC Infinity fan and removed the small fan that was pointed down at RPi3. On high the fan dropped temps 9-15c. Even air passing the side of the stack and going over the RPi2 that is in a vented case dropped temps 10c. Wow.
The AC Infinty has a USB pass though to attach more fans, a HMLO switch, High, Medium, Low, Off. Is quiet on high and no vibration. Very pleased with it.
The tall copper heat sinks are nice as the air has more heat sink to move across. The RPi2 overclocked is now 36.9-37.9c. RPi3 51.5-52.1c. Very nice.
I have no tunnel for my Pi 3, and I have a very short aluminum heat sink with one fan at the edge of the Pi and consistently range between 47 and 49C w/ my Pi 3 fully utilized. This Pi 3 is an Allied Electronics version.
I bring this up because it seems that I'm the only person who runs under 50C and I have no tunnel - it's just sitting open on my desk.

I see why you guys like your tunnels.
Cheers!
Maybe you could find some pvc pipe whose inside diameter is equivalent to the diagonal measurement of your 120mm fan or equal to the height of your stack (which ever is greater). Then you could place the fan in the pvc with your stack and pack foam insulation around the fan to provide full air flow. It would be relatively inexpensive and functional. If that worked plug another fan into the exhaust end. Just be sure to secure the stack. :>)
Once the PI team has reached a certain critical mass, I think we should let the RaspberryPi foundation know about this, maybe we get a blog entry one day.

I was thinking the same thing. I need to get my 7 other Pi 3s online!

Moving the fan up against the Pi stack dropped Pi3 to 49.4c. Today is cooler too. Ambient is 23.4c and usually is 24.4.
