If Dave's suggestion (a good one it is) doesn't work, you might want to try an official BOINC client. It's possible that Crunch3r's BOINC client is not playing well with Einstein.

It is alright, but Trux is better. BTW, to switch from Trux to Crunch3r you just have to replace boinc.exe and boinc.dll.

Try reinstalling S39L. By switching to a new core client, you may have been sent the official albert science app from E@H. Just a thought, I don't know if that is the problem though.

Thanks for the advice. Working well now. Crunch times returned to previous levels.

Glad it worked, good crunching!

There are 10^11 stars in the galaxy. That used to be a huge number. But it's only a hundred billion. It's less than the national deficit! We used to call them astronomical numbers. Now we should call them economical numbers. - Richard Feynman

Thanx for the heads up Stick. I was scratching my head for awhile on the 5.4.9 BOINC and 5.5.0 C3r client, but they seem to be working fine together.

Check out this page. The BOINC Manager communicates with the applications via internal sockets connections. So they TCP, even though not using the internet at that point.

How does Crunch3r 5.5.0 handle the S@H claimed credit? I'm currently using the Trux client.

I`m getteing a little bit

I`m getteing a little bit higher claimed credit with 5.5.0 then I got with C3r client 5.2.13. I think because for some reason I got little better benchmark. I now claim about 22 credit instead of 16 for a WU, I´m also using akosf S41.07 optimezed einstein at home client. About Seti at Home I have to wait to see, no reported WU their yet.
