Dear Gary, here you find the

Dear Gary, here you find the translation of Manilius versets in the book of Essais by Montaigne :" The uncertainty of our judgment "....

" Often, not very good decisions have success ,
And the prudence can be deceptive,
The luck doesn't reward and doesn't follow always those who deserve it,
But it goes by random , wandering here and there,
It seems that there is some supreme power which rules and governs us and arranges under its laws all mortal things...."

Ariane, as I said to you in

Ariane, as I said to you in the team thread, I have read your posts, both here on the Einstein boards and also on the Seti boards, and I find your ideas interesting.

I don't understand some of them though, so can I ask you to elaborate on this person's, Omar Khayaam..., ideas? I saw that some people here have posted, that you have opened their eyes for something.

I also saw your thesis about time on the Seti board, maybe you will start a thread about this here and elaborate on this also? You said you based your theories on Einstein's ideas, so this must be of very big interest here on this project's boards, which has his name.

I know it says on the message board site:

We ask that you keep all discussion on the message boards related to Einstein@Home or BOINC with the small exception of the Science message board where you are free to discuss anything about physics and astronomy. We encourage users that are interested in broader discussions to post invites to unofficial E@H forums.

but you have already started some discussions about some things, so I'm sure Gary Roberts, as the Forum Moderator, won't mind at all.

I also remember you posted something about religion somewhere here, so this could be a very interesting topic also! Einstein was very interested in religion also, it was after all him, who said "God does not play dice with the universe." I mean, even Stephen Hawking has quoted him saying this!

He also said "All religions, arts and sciences are branches of the same tree.", so in his spirit, please tell us your thoughts.

Oh dear Fuzzy , very nice of you for having payed attention to my so called "thoughts", as i said just now in your own thread , i act and talk very spontaneously depending on my feelings of the moment , without taking in consideration the consequences of my acts or talks. All i'v posted until now to Seti and Einstein were not at all with the purpose of "opening" the eyes of people , this is not at all my mission , because i believe that everyone is equiped with some sort of intelligence and gift and necessarly on their path they will find the truth ,the truth of their own and not a sort of absolute truth and they don't need my explanation of all sort. In both Cafe Seti and Einstein , i needed just to express myself and telling my vision of the world in a field which interests me very much, i mean physics and metaphysics and especially space , cosmos and Universe .That was all.

Certainly i will follow your advice and if some original thought touches me , surely i will express it here.

Cheers

Ariane
